Zepp Tennis Swing Analyzer might just be the Ultimate Tennis Gadget.
UPDATE 2018: This gadget has been updated and is now called Zepp 2.
It seems like every sport has its own gadget these days. Even the noble sport of tennis has a sensor device you can attach to your racket to improve your skills. Zepp Tennis Swing Analyzer is developed to track how you shoot, how long you have played, ball speed, the power of your shot and spin. You can also read this post about 6 cool tennis sensors.
With this cool gadget, you will be able to analyze and improve your techniques in a whole different way you are used to.
Zepp Tennis Swing Analyzer
Everything is monitored inside a small signal yellow square sensor device called the Zepp. The motion sensor is turned on by pushing one of the corners that act as a button for 4 seconds. After a while, a row of 10 small LED lights shows you that the sensor is active and ready to go. Then it is placed in a flexible rubber mount at the end of your racket. If you have several rackets, this mount is easy to move around.
Before the racket can be used the sensor needs to be calibrated to perform accurately. While the racket lays on the floor, a calibrating program is initiated on your smartphone or tablet, and the device is properly set up with Bluetooth. Then you are ready to play.

Real-time Data Flow
The data the tennis racket sensor collects can be watched real-time by a coach or bystander with the free app Zepp Tennis. The internal storage can save up to 2000 swings for later views. Your training sessions are stored for later replays and to track your improvements over time. Your results can be shared and compared to other users.
A cool feature in the app is a 360 degree 3D Serve Mode, which allows you to see your serve shots in three dimensions and replay them over and over again.
You can use the same Zepp sensor with Baseball and Golf too if you buy the suitable mounts.

My Opinion about the Zepp Tennis Swing Analyzer
With this tennis gadget, you can analyze and improve your techniques with ease. It’s not difficult to use, but beginners may have problems interpreting the scores and recordings without an experienced player helping them.
Therefore, I think this clever gadget suits more advanced player best.
Tennis coaches should have this one in their equipment bag and at least use it once in a while. If you know a sports freak this is the perfect tennis gift.

It’s definitely a nice gadget. I see you are interested in baseball. You can use the same sensor piece on a baseball bat with a baseball bat mount and analyze your swing. Click here to check out the Zepp 3D Baseball Swing Analyzer.
